The law requires anyone employing or engaging a supplier to carry out construction work to take reasonable steps to ensure that they have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to fulfil that role (or if they are an organisation, the organisational capability). 

This can be clearly demonstrated by holding an SSIP accreditation.

Business name/registration 

Insurances (public/liability) 

Training certificates, for example, Asbestos, Working at Heights, CSCS, COSHH assessments, risk assessments/method statement 

Names of all employees and a summary of business duties
